The free General Knowledge online course provides a comprehensive and well-organized curriculum covering the essential topics that allows you to pass the General Knowledge exam at your state licensing agency.​ The General Knowledge exam is one of three required tests that a driver-trainee must pass at the State Licensing Agency (SLA) to obtain a Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP). ​It is strongly recommended that driver-trainees start with the General Knowledge course, followed by the Air Brake course, and then proceed to the Combination Vehicle course.
